2.5" SSD RT31 (Power Plus) is SATA III 6Gb/s MLC solid state drive with Power Plus technology .The RT31 (Power Plus) series has a SATA 3 interface and a lifetime of 10,000 erase/write cycles. When the system encounters sudden power failures or shutdowns, its power can be extended so the data in the DRAM cache can be safely written into NAND flash memory to avoid loss or damage. The series is suitable for 5G and AI driven IoT applications covering aerospace/defense, industrial/embedded, unmanned driving systems, transport & logistics, surveillance, health, and remote work and distance learning.

OCP/OVP

Equipped with a built-in OCP (Over Current Protection) and OVP (Over Voltage Protection) IC, the SSD is able to shut down power to protect its data when encountering abnormal currents and voltages.

Power Plus

MEMXPRO Power Plus with firmware control and POSCAP capacitor design prevents data loss from an unexpected power loss. Power Plus mechanism provides extended power backup for all data in the DRAM buffers to be totally written back to mitigate catastrophic power failure.

AES Encryption

AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm is used for the encryption and decryption of data in order to prevent data theft from hackers and malware. Specific keys are required before using the SSD. AES 256-bit has a long block size and key sizes of 256 bits and is among the top ciphers.

TRIM

The TRIM command allows the OS to tell SSD which blocks of data are no longer in use and can be erased. This enhances write performance by releasing space.

Wear Leveling

Wear Leveling algorithms and bad block detection schemes are used to extend life span and efficient utilization of the NAND flash memory.

mSMART

mSMART is a MEMXPRO's utility which is designed to provide product details and S.M.A.R.T. information. Our customers are able to monitor health, temperature and the lifespan of each installed disk in the system.

Thermal Sensor

The sensor in a controller can measure temperature through a product to enhance its data integrity. With SMARTPro, customers can monitor the temperature of MEMXPRO's SSD inside their system.

MEMXPRO’s products are designed to comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Electromagnetic Interface( EMI) standards.
